Phone trade-in partner program

More phones for your display. Less chasing.

GizmoGrind sends quote-ready local sellers to your store. You inspect the phone, choose whether to buy it, pay the seller directly, and keep the inventory.

5% of the final trade-in price, only after verified completion

The phone becomes your inventory

One local seller, four clear steps

From online quote to a phone on your counter.

The program handles discovery and routing. Your team handles the part it already knows best: inspecting a device and deciding whether it belongs in your store.

1

The seller gets a quote

They describe a working phone online and see a conditional trade-in value.

2

Your store is selected

An eligible nearby seller chooses an approved partner location for the visit.

3

You verify the phone

Check condition, identity, lock status, and ownership indicators before proceeding.

4

You complete the purchase

The seller accepts the verified price, you pay them directly, and keep the device.

Your counter, your judgment

A lead is useful only when you still control the buy.

You are not accepting a blind shipment or a mixed wholesale lot. The phone comes to your store, your team sees it, and the transaction moves forward only after the device and final price are verified.

  • Keep the final say. Decline devices that fail inspection or program requirements.
  • Keep the relationship. Meet a local customer in person and provide a clear experience.
  • Keep the inventory. The completed purchase belongs to your store, ready for your resale process.

Not another dashboard to manage. A better way for the right phones to find your counter.

Simple completion-based economics

The fee follows the result.

GizmoGrind earns 5% of the final recorded trade-in price after a verified completion. If the referred trade-in is not completed, there is no platform fee for that referral.

This example explains the platform fee only. Your resale price, operating costs, taxes, and realized margin remain your business decisions.

Example completed referral Verified
Final trade-in price $400
GizmoGrind platform fee (5%) $20
Inventory you keep 1 phone

The store pays the seller the final agreed price directly. GizmoGrind charges only its platform fee after the completion is verified.

Straight answers

Before you apply.

What does the partner program cost?

The platform fee is 5% of the final trade-in price recorded after a verified completion. There is no platform fee when a referred trade-in is not completed.

Who pays the seller?

Your store pays the seller directly during the visit. GizmoGrind does not hold the device purchase funds or pay the seller on your behalf.

Do I have to buy every referred phone?

No. You verify the device, ownership indicators, and condition before completing the purchase. You can decline a phone that is suspicious, locked, materially different from its description, or outside the program rules.

What if the condition is different from the online quote?

Record the verified condition and revised price in the workflow. The seller can accept or reject the revised offer before the trade-in is completed.

Are broken phones supported?

Not during the current launch phase. The partner router is focused on working phones while the network and operating process are being established.

Do you guarantee referral volume?

No. Referral activity depends on nearby seller demand, the devices being offered, store eligibility, and routing availability. GizmoGrind does not promise a minimum number of referrals.

How soon can my store begin receiving referrals?

Applications are reviewed before activation. Referrals can begin after your store is approved, its information is verified, and all required partner setup is complete.
