If out of warranty, you will have to part with $129 to $329 to replace your screen plus additional cost for other repairs.

Third-party companies may charge you less and often have a faster turnaround time. So if your iPhone does not have a coverage plan and running on a tight budget, consider contacting third parties for replacement.

Keep in mind some third party repair joints may use lower-quality screens or what’s known as “copy” parts. The best way to gauge the quality of their parts is by looking at the quality of their reviews online.

Many repair stores use refurbished screens that are just as good as the parts Apple uses so don’t expect the extra cost you pay at Apple to necessarily translate to a better repair job.

We also don’t find that Apple-certified stores are any better than repair stores that are not certified. Here again, a simple judgment call can be made by peeping their reviews.

FAQs:

Where can I get Apple-certified repairs?

You can access apple certified repairs and services at Apple store or in any of the Apple authorized services providers.
